One Direction
Five different boys going five separate ways,
Were brought together in July on the 24^th day,
They worked and they laughed until each days end,
Each boy had gained the four best of friends
And out onto the stage defining perfection,
Emerged the new boy band named One Direction,
There was Niall and Zayn, Liam, Louis and Harry,
“The UK’s hottest boy band” was the name they would carry
Song after song, week after week,
Their performances improved until they reached their peak,
(not beak, but peak)
Beginning and ending with a song known as “Torn”,
There was now no denying five stars had been born
And though they didn’t win but came close at third,
They left with a promise,
“This isn’t the last you have heard”
And so began the fame,
The tours and the fans,
The five best friends,
Had the world in their hands
They released their first single,
Which went straight to number one,
They accomplished their dreams,
Whilst still having fun
It’s only the start but I’ll be there ‘til the end,
And so One Direction my best wishes I send,
